Growing up, art and creativity were always a large part of who I was. From sketching to painting, and even some sculpting. However, as I got older I lost interest in art and began to run stagnant with my creativity. My momma always pushed me to get back into and to be creative with my time. She would say things like, β€œJust create something. Be creative for one hour and watch the change.” Despite my initial resistance, her unwavering support and encouragement nurtured a deep love for art within me. After her passing, I turned to art and creativity to express the emotions consuming me. Through a continuing journey of grief and personal growth, I discovered a passion for photography and its ability to bring glory to God. Through my work, I strive to tell the stories that go unseen, unheard, and overlooked, all while creating meaningful art that tugs at the soul.
